Type in a command, or "ls dictionary" to search all commands for "dictionary", etc.
|
here is a trademe searching command which you can use to access advanced searching.
unfortunately, trademe uses an inconvient system where the
different categories have number codes, i think you could
make a command where you can enter the names but it will be
much harder.
-region
100 - NZ
50 - north island
1 - Northland
2 - auckland
3 - waikato
4 - bay of plenty
5 - gisborne
6 - hawkes bay
7 - taranaki
8 - wanganui
9 - manawatu
11 - wairarapa
12 - wellington
60 - south island
13 - nelson bays
14 - marlbrough
15 - west coast
16 - canterbury
17 - timaru - omaru
18 - otago
19 - southland
-sort
price_desc (default - i think this is more useful than title which is the trademe default)
price_asc
title_asc
expiry_asc (i.e. latest listing)
expiry_desc (i.e. closing soon)
-type
just some likely examples:
all - anything (default)
0001 - cars, boats, motorbikes
0002 - computers
0124 - electronics
2975 - flatmates wanted
0343 - music and instruments
you can't search for a job right now, because that uses a
different url structure. however, could could make a command
which did that using the yubnub ifThen command. I have named
this command tmeadv1 with the "1" on the end so that a better
command could be made made with a shorter name.
examples:
to search for a flat on a yacht in auckland:
tmeadv1 yacht -region 2 -type 2975
to search for a cheap car in wellington (car):
tmeadv1 toyota -region 12 -type 0001
unfortunately you cant search for a category without a search term,
at least not in this version of the command.
