on www.jstor.org using the Jstor syntax:

-q is to be followed by the query (Jstor search syntax -- e.g. au:(AUTHORNAME) AND ti:(TITLE))

-year is to be followed by the starting year.

Example:

jstor -q au:(paul dimaggio) -year 1983
