Dell Support Search. Enter "dell" and the Service Tag for your Dell product to bring up the Dell Product Support Page.

The service tag is 5 or 7 alphanumeric characters. If you don't know your service tag, you can check the system BIOS for computer products, or look on any Dell product for the Service Tag sticker.

On older desktops, printers, and most consumer devices, look for a sticker on the back of the device. For newer desktops, you'll often find a sticker on the side or front panel. Notebooks have a sticker on the bottom. Axim Handhelds generally have the service tag on a sticker under the battery, just make sure your backup battery is charged before removing it.

Examples:
dell 12abc
dell abc1234
