SamSpade.org WHOIS - 
Ever wanted to find out who owns a particular server on the internet, or who uns a particular website?
Ever wanted to contact them, or find out where in the world their host server is located at?
Well this is a starting point to doing just that, with a mainstay app of the Internet, "WHOIS" at the SamSpade.org website!
Merely enter the Internet FQDN (fully qualified domain (or site) name), OR IP# (in IPv4-only xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx format, valid ranges for numbers are 0-255)
and you should be taken to a page describing (at least a starting point for) what you were looking for  :-)
